At Hughes Marino, our dedicated construction management team prides itself on staying on the cutting edge of modern design and build projects. We recently had the privilege to work with some of the industry’s most respected organizations to make progress on exciting projects within our communities. StepStone Group is a global private market firm that recently wanted to expand its 47,360 SF footprint at University Town Center.
At this, Hughes Marino rep firm helped design, permit, and construct. To execute this project on time for maximum efficiency and quality, our team brought together Gensler Architect, Bycor General Contractors, and OfficeWorks. Meanwhile, at Artiva Biotherapeutics, our team needed help constructing a 42,441 SF office space and lab alongside 9180 SF of GMP space, including multiple ISO 7 clean rooms.
McFarlane Associates Architects and DPR Construction partnered on this project, with the first phase completed by June 1st, 2022. On such an important venture, it was an honor to assist in creating such an impactful research center aiding cancer therapies. Hughes Marion adds that Natural Alternatives International (NAI) also named us as their partner company when purchasing a building for their corporate headquarters at Carlsbad Research Centre in California.
Thus, requiring a 12000 SF industrial mezzanine along with 20,000 SF manufacturing operations plus yet another 10 000 SF office space remodel carried out by Delawie Architects and Burger Construction, both planned for completion in October 2022. Finally, to commemorate all their hard work, Hughes Marino’s project partners attended the wall signing event in May 2022.
This, for Hillel San Diego’s Beverly and Joseph Glickman Centre along with MW Steele Group, Pacific Building Group, and ourselves as staff members at Hughes Marino recall. We were immensely proud that this landmark community building at UCSD has become a reality.
