Randy Douthit is an American TV producer, writer, and actor. He is the co-creator of Judy Justice, a TV show on Sundance Channel. He has also worked on other shows such as American Horror Story and Crime Story.
Judy Justice is a fictionalized version of the life of America’s first serial killer, Lizzie Borden. The storylines are based on actual events that happened in the town of Fall River, Massachusetts, in 1892. Douthit believes that this cast and crew were able to create something new for people to watch and enjoy because they could only use what was available during this period, which consisted mostly of travelling actors and local specialists who could not travel due to disease epidemics or financial constraints.
Douthit has been working on the show for over twenty-five years. He began his career by working as a reporter for various local stations in Massachusetts. He then began to work on movies and television shows all throughout New England, as well as doing voiceovers and character voices for video games. All of these experiences allowed him to gain experience working with people in different places, which is why he believes that the cast was able to create a show that is not only interesting but realistic.
He has also met many of the cast members while they were overseas traveling because they were doing after-school activities and performing arts programs in war zones. The TV show also received an award in 2004 during the People’s Choice Awards.
Randy Douthit was born in Boston, Massachusetts, on March 17, 1970. His ancestry is French and Native American. He attended Emerson College for his undergraduate degree, where he majored in journalism, and then went on to Emerson for his Master of Fine Arts degree.
Now, Douthit lives with his wife and kids in New York City. He was later married to another producer named Laura Wexler but divorced a few years after they got married because he wanted to focus on raising his two children, who had special needs.
