About Robert Kraft

Robert Kraft is an American investor, industrialist, philanthropist, and CEO of Kraft Group. His holdings include Gillette Stadium, New England Patriots, Rand-Whitney Group, and New England Revolution. After high school, he got a scholarship to attend Columbia University and also has an MBA from Harvard.

Robert Kraft is committed to making the lives of others better. He gives to charities, nonprofit initiatives, healthcare, and social justice causes. He has given about $14 million to ensure equity among vulnerable populations. Kraft is determined to end anti-Semitism. In 2019, he was awarded the Genesis Price for his efforts and support to the Jewish community.

Robert Kraft is globally recognized as being among the most prominent sports industrialists. In the early 90s, he tried to secure Foxborough as one of the stadiums to host the FIFA World Cup. He also played a significant role in making the United States one of the hosts for the 2026 World Cup.

Kraft at the Patriots

Robert Kraft has always loved sports and has been a fan of the Patriots. For over two decades, he never missed their game. He eventually bought his beloved team in 1994. He brought his winning mentality to the team, and his goal was to secure the championship trophy. Doing this would, however, be a massive task given the team’s lackluster performance.

After 28 years with the Patriots, the team has won the Lombardi six times and appeared at the NFL Super Bowl ten times. Before 1994, the home fans had only witnessed one home playoff match back in 1978. Under Kraft, the Patriots have qualified more than 20 times for the playoffs. Patriots fans were impressed with how Kraft seemed personally invested in rebuilding the team. This boosted their confidence in the team’s ability to contend for major titles. To demonstrate their belief, fans bought over 40,000 tickets in the first season, breaking sales records. New England fans could for the first time also watch the games from home on television.
